After 225 pages I've found I don't even care how it ends. I read another book by Charles de Lint, that seemed to drag in places, but the story line was interesting enough to keep me going. I'll be honest, I only got half way through this book. It also won the William Crawford Award from the International Association for the Fantastic in the Arts.
